Lillie Hill McAlister

Lillie Hill McAlister, 74, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 16, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. She was born on November 29, 1943 in Hattiesburg, MS, to James and Nettie Hill. Lillie worked as a coding specialist at the Saddler Clinic for 17 years where she touched countless lives. In 2000 she owned a coding business with longtime friend Pat Lutz, in 2005 she retired. Lillie loved to listen to her son, David sing and play guitar, she loved animals and loved her grandchildren “the mostest”. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Louis McAlister Jr.; sons David Smith and significant other Jacqueline Lewis, Paul Smith and wife Paula; grandchildren, Jessica Dixon Galbreath and husband Jackson, Kyle Smith and Chase Smith; sister, Joann Upton and husband Tom; nephews, Charles Upton and James Upton. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 beginning at 3:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home, with the graveside service immediately following in Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
