Celebration of life Services for LILLIAN MARIE BAUMANN 84, of Willis, TX will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at Spring First Church with Reverend Robert Hogan officiating. Lunch will be served immediately after.
Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at the Mausoleum at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX
Lillian passed away on December 18, 2022, at the Medical Resort of the Woodlands.
Lillian was born December 31, 1937 in Lubbock, TX to the late Lewis David Hogan and Martha Marie (Stewart) Hogan.
Lillian graduated from Lubbock High School in 1956. She worked at various companies including BE Needles Tire Company, High Plains Cotton Compress. Lillian married the Love of her Life, Paul Finley Baumann on February 28, 1958 in Lubbock, TX. They were married for 64 wonderful years.
Lillian and Paul resided in Perryton TX where they founded Baumann Moving and Storage, Agents for Bruce and Son Moving and Storage from 1958 to 1973. In 1973 Lillian and Paul moved to Amarillo Texas and purchased the local Bruce and Son Agency and operated it until 1979. In 1982 Lillian and Paul moved to The Woodlands, TX where she worked as a bookkeeper for Superior Bumper Exchange for 16 years. Lillian also worked at her daughters company for the next 5 years as a bookkeeper and accountant and then at her nephews company until she was 80 years old.
She was very active in her church and served as the Secretary/ Treasurer, played the piano, taught Sunday school and many other ministries. Lillian had a hard working mentality, was dedicated in all the things she did, had a compassion for helping others and lived life to the fullest.
Lillian was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Don Hogan of Lubbock, TX and her sister Janice Carol Haygood of Conroe, TX.
Lillian is survived by her husband Paul Baumann of Willis, TX, Daughter Paula Sharie Burch of Conroe, TX and two grandsons, Connor Burch of Willis, TX and Preston Burch of Broaddus, TX and one Great-Grandson, Christian Burch of Willis TX. She is also survived by her brother Wayne Hogan and Wife Dorothea Hogan of Arlington, TX and her brother Rev. Robert Hogan and Wife Rev. Brenda Hogan of Spring, TX, Brother-in-law Darwin Baumann and wife Carol Baumann of Amarillo, TX.
For her family, Lillian was like the sun, bright and beautiful, warm and comforting. Paul thought Lillian was one of the most patient persons he had ever met.
Lillian’s husband, daughter and grandchildren were her world and she loved them very much.
Also left to celebrate her memory are her cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and Great - Great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Our family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and strength as we endure the loss of Lillian and celebrate her Life.
