June M. Banks, born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 20, 1928 left this world suddenly on August 1, 2015. In her life she had the role of wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. The only thing she cherished as much as her family was her time bowling with her friends. While her passing leaves our hearts empty, we can rejoice that she has returned to her family that have left this world and that she can now rest in peace. Her husband Ernie Banks and daughter Jean Howard who preceded her in death stand at the gates of Heaven to welcome her home. June is survived by her son Richard Banks and wife Patty, grandchildren Robert Hooks and wife Jena; Cindy Silvas and husband Eric; Robert Jensen and wife Pearl; Laura Santana and husband Jesus and Chris Banks and fiancée Zoya Beg. Great grandchildren are Sydney, Courtney, Austin, Tristan, Josh, Logan, Michael, Abby, and Robbie.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Metcalf Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas.
