Jordan was born in Houston, Texas on April 12, 1990. He was the youngest of three children and the only son of Gary and Celeste Pangarakis. As a young child, Jordan moved with his family to Magnolia, Texas. He asked Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior at just five years old and was baptized shortly after by Pastor Stephen Strader in Humble, Texas. All throughout school, he played many sports and graduated from Magnolia High School in 2008. Immediately upon graduating, Jordan enlisted in the United States Navy and received an Honorable Discharge. Jordan proclaimed his Christian faith on his military tags. Jordan took advantage of the G.I. Bill and went on to pursue certification in the electrical field. Jordan re-dedicated his life many times to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and recently did again just two weeks before his passing. He enjoyed bow hunting and fishing with his dad, collecting coins, and reading, especially the Bible. He was a health enthusiast and a big sports fan.
We would like to thank all the people who loved and prayed for our precious son. Jordan had a wonderful life and was very close to his family. He battled mental illness in his adult life, but Jesus took the sting of death and is why we can shout victory and not defeat. He will be greatly missed, our hearts are broken, but we have the promise that we will see him again. John 3:16. One of Jordan’s last passwords was “Jesus is enough!”
Jordan gave faithfully for many years to the House of Destiny. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Jordan at www.houseofdestiny.org/donations.
Jordan is survived by his parents Gary and Celeste Pangarakis; sisters Paige Pangarakis, Mallory Kritikakis and husband Tasos; nieces, Bo and Bella Ortiz; and grandmother Jackie Bowers.
A private family service will be held for Jordan.
