John George Vickery Sr.

John George Vickery Sr., 68, of Willis, Texas went home peacefully to be with our Lord on May 8, 2015. John was a graduate of Brewster Technical Center, where he studied to be a mechanic. John devoted his life to raising eight children. He was an exceptional Father who taught his children Love, Understanding, Commitment and Acceptance, while demonstrating daily what it meant to be a loving Father, who truly loved all of his children. John is survived by his sister, Joyce Lacey of Tallahassee, Florida; daughter, Kathy Ragsdale of Lutz, Florida; son, Eugene Hinson of Riverview, Florida; son, Chet Hinson of Willis, Texas; daughter, Tammy Ragsdale of Willis, Texas; son, John Vickery Jr. of Willis, Texas; son, Michael Boddie of Riverview, Florida; son, Joshua Boddie of Riverview, Florida; son, Wesley Boddie of Riverview, Florida; 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 10:30am-12:30pm. Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm.
