John Perry “Blackie” Dueitt, Jr moved on from his earthly life to be with the Lord on October 30, 2012. He was born on April 2, 1928 to John Perry and Mattie Jewell Dueitt in Houston, Texas. On April 24, 1949 he married the love of his life, Ezetta W. Wilmoth and together they brought four children into this world. John was owner of the “Big D” restaurant located on Hwy 75, Now I-45 at Tamina for 13 years. He was in pipeline construction supervision all over the world and was a 47 year member of the IUOE, local 450, Operating Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Perry Dueitt, Sr. and Mattie Jewell Goodson, also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Rachel Marie Dueitt and Joshua David Carrigan. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ezetta of Conroe, Tx; son, John Perry III and wife Linda; son, Jerry and wife Rose, son, Rusty and wife Kim all of Conroe; daughter, Dianne Bratton and husband Wes of Richmond, TX; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home with funeral services being held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:45am in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery located at 13102 North Freeway Houston, TX 77060.
