Jessie James White Jr, born in Duncan, Oklahoma on July 7, 1940, passed away on December 26, 2023 of the age of 83, in Conroe, Texas.
Jessie graduated from Sydnee Nebraska High School and became a rough neck for a few years before joining the Air Force in 1962. In 1965, he returned to working the oil fields in Nebraska and Wyoming. Jessie moved to Amarillo, Texas, In 1969 and worked at Portland Concrete for several years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. In 1977, he worked for A1 Bit and Tool in Europe as an Operator and in Sales until he transferred to Houston, Texas in 1980.
When his son Jay was in Middle School, Jessie was his little league football coach. Jessie loved football and was a Dallas Cowboys fan since the day they became an official team.
Jessie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Lee White, his sons Dan Slaughter, Kevin Jay White, David James White and grandson Colten Wayne White.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
