James was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was talented, wise, witty beyond measure and made the best barbecue ever.
He served in the United States Army and was retired from Krueger Engineering.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Louise Coker, grandson Kenneth Kauffman and wife Brandi, and great grandchildren Ashley, Madison, Ethan, and Logan.
Memorials in James’ memory may be made to Tree of Life Lutheran Church where he has been a faithful member for 24 years.
Psalm 121: The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
Memorial service will be held at Tree of Life Lutheran Church at 3201 N. Loop 336 W., Conroe, Texas 77304 on December 18, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Lake officiating.
