Jacob Clifford Stark, Jr. was born on September 2, 1924 to Jacob Clifford Stark, Sr. and Audrey Morton Stark in Tampa, Florida. He went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2021. He was married for 67 years to Ruth Mahaffey Stark, who preceded him in death, along with their son Martin Keith, and great-grandson Elijah Donovan.
Cliff was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Conroe, Texas for over 20 years. He enjoyed parties, playing bridge, playing the slot machines, golfing, bridge, and travelling for fun or to spend time with family and friends. He loved people. He never met a stranger. He loved his church. He taught Sunday School for many years. He served in the Army during WWII and was active in his Local American Legion Brotherhood, serving as a chaplain. He was a loving husband, father, Papa, and friend.
He is survived by his two daughters, Catherine Stark and Suzanne Hale; three grandchildren, Buster Graybill, Mandy Pate, and Courtney Shaw; and six great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jaycee, Savanna, Jason, Isayah, and Judah.
A private celebration of life ceremony will be held at St. James the Apostle Episcopal Church in Conroe, Texas.
