Gary Thomas Patterson

Gary Thomas Patterson of Willis, Texas passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 60, from cancer at his home on Lake Conroe. He was born on October 24, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Gary is a former South Belt resident and graduated from Dobie High School in 1981.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, James Patterson; mother, Judy Wheeler, and sister Patti Gilbert. Gary is survived by his significant other, Beverly Greig; daughter, Trisha Rodriguez and husband, Justin. He is also survived by his brothers, Brett Patterson and wife, Denise; Eric Patterson and wife, Evie; Toby Patterson and wife, Jennifer as well as numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many longtime friends, and he truly appreciated each of those friendships. He lived his life to the fullest. In his youth, he raised hell on the streets in Sagemont and had some of the best times at “The Patterson House”.

Gary worked at United Casing Inc. for the past 13 years and served as the Vice President of Operations. He worked in the oil industry his whole career where he had a passion for what he did.

Gary was always eager to share the wisdom from his own personal experiences. His thoughtful advice shared with those dear to him was an expression of love and created bonds that will be forever cherished. His smile and sense of humor will be remembered and greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.

Gary loved living on Lake Conroe where he was the happiest; he loved spending time fishing and playing golf and watching the sunsets with Beverly.
