Gary Eugene Gibson

Funeral services for Gary Eugene Gibson, age 67, of Conroe will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Linda Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Gary was born October 21, 1943 in Conroe, Texas and passed away June 07, 2011 at home, surrounded by his family. His life was focused on ministry and helping those who were in need. Gary is a retired chemist and minister. He is survived by his wife, Nina of 45 years; his brother, James Gibson, Jr. and his wife Charlotte Gibson; sisters, Lyndia Engstrom and Cynthia Thomas and her husband Gary Thomas. He is also survived by his three children, Gary Gibson, Jr., Jennifer Gibson, and Michelle Wiggins and her husband Dennis Wiggins; and thirteen grandchildren, Jessica Hoyles, Casey Wiggins, Andrew Thorpe, Aaron Gibson, Nathan Thorpe, Kristen Gibson, Ashley Thorpe, Maddison Wiggins, Alisha Hernandez, Brenna Wiggins, Jonathan Thorpe, Danielle Hernandez, and Brandon Gibson. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
