Dorothy Carolyn Wright

She enjoyed spending time with family, loved her church, playing games and going to the casino.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James B. Wright, Sr., children David Beach, Ricky Wright, Kim Pate and husband Gene, James Wright and wife Lourdes, and Melanie Lara and husband Alex, grandchildren Chellie Evans and spouse Sean, Rick Putman, Alex Lara and spouse Karina, John Lara and spouse Susan, Cody Pate and spouse Mandy, Alana Groothuis and spouse Steven, Ricky Jay Wright, Dallas McDonald and spouse Preston, Shalyssa Ellison and spouse Cory, Carolyn Goudeau and spouse Corey, Randall Wright, Jr. and spouse Olivia, Jennifer Lara, Emily Wright, Anna Wright, and Kira Wright, great grandchildren, Chase, Miranda, Blakleigh, Adalee, John Alexander, Cooper, Jacob, Baby Groo, Serenity, Noah, Charleston, Laney Jane, Kaylan, Remington, Tennesse, Landon, Lexi, Lincoln, and Violet. She was preceded in death by her son Randy Wright, her parents Chester and Mattie Britt, and brother Benji Britt.

Dorothy’s family will hold private funeral services and lay her to rest in the Houston National Cemetery.
