Dorothy Mae Lee

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Stowe Lee will be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at 12:30pm at the 1st Baptist Church of Grangerland with interment immediately following in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Dorothy Mae Stowe Lee went home to the lord on March 24, 2012 at age 84. She was the only daughter of Lonnie A. and Virgie C. Stowe, born on September 3, 1927 in Conroe, Texas. Her family was one of the early settlers of Grangerland, Texas where Dorothy grew up. She loved playing sports, especially, volleyball and basketball. Grangerland is also where she met and married the love of her life Cloyce G. Lee and together raised their family. They enjoyed 59 years together before he passed in 2005. Dorothy worked for many years at the Grangerland Post Office as a clerk and postmaster. She enjoyed cooking; making big meals every Sunday for her family and everyone was welcome to share. She was best known for her pies, peanut brittle and popcorn and no one ever left her house without some to take home. She was truly a treasure that we will all miss deeply. There to greet her in Heaven are her parents, husband, Cloyce G. Lee, infant brother, Bee W. Stowe and twin brothers, Georgie B Stowe and Willie B Stowe, and many other relatives and friends. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Cheryl Belovsky and husband Steve; sons, Ronald Lee, Royce Lee, Billy Lee and wife Kay; grandchildren, Toby Belovsky and wife Miranda, Laci Belovsky, Billy Bob Lee and wife Adrienne, Ronald A. Lee and wife Tiffany, Tammy Adams and husband Justin, Michael Lee and wife Beth, Kyle Lee and wife Julie and Kameron Lee; 6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister-in-law, Shirley Bryant and husband Carl and many other family and friends. The family would like to give a special Thank You to so many family and friends who were there to help, and to each of you, it was greatly appreciated.
