Denny was born August 11, 1940, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to William and Bernice Wikoff. He graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1959. He retired from AT&T after 30 years of employment and FEMA for 14 years. On May 7, 1977, he married the love of his life, Frances Marie Polinski. They raised one child, Sheila Marie Mayfield.
Denny loved singing, traveling, making new friends, playing guitar, playing sports, volunteering, and serving the Lord. He was known for his great stories, his sense of humor, and for his kind, compassionate spirit.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bernice Wikoff, and his brother, Jack Wikoff.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, his daughter, Sheila, and her husband Michael; his two grandchildren, Matthew and Brooke; his great grandchildren Brynnlee and Bellamy; his sister, Sue, sister-in-law, Christa; and his nephews, Jack Wikoff, David Wikoff, and John Riley.
A celebration of life will be held on his birthday, August 11th, 2021, at 2 pm. The services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road (FM 3083), in Conroe Texas.
