Funeral services for Chris Haddox, 26, of Conroe were at 10 A.M. Thursday, July 26, 2007, at First Baptist Church The Woodlands with interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery. Visitation was 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Metcalf Funeral Home in Conroe.
Chris was born December 11, 1980, in Odessa, Texas and went home to be with our Lord on July 22, 2007, in Houston, Texas. Chris is preceded in death by grandparents, Forrest and Alberta Haddox; grandfather, E.J. Birchfield; and aunt, Hazel Pittman. Survivors include wife, Rhonda and daughter, Adara; parents, Robert and Susan Haddox; brother, Shane Haddox; half-brothers, Steve and Kevin Haddox; half-sister, Dana May; grandmother, Shirley Birchfield; uncles and aunts, Donnie and Ronda Hall, Chuck Haddox, Stanley Haddox, Richard Haddox, Anniece Alexander, Darlene Lait, Myrtle Wigley and Tracey Clark; and his adoring nephews, Caleb and Padyn.
Chris enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Rhonda and their daughter, Adara. He loved God, America, family, sports, and his Dodge Ram pickup truck. Chris served in the US Army 4th I.D.
