Carroll Nelson Thompson

Carroll Nelson Thompson Sr. was born on September 24, 1936, in Sylvester, Texas, to Butler A. Thompson and Vada Tullos Thompson. He passed away on November 21, 2022, in Conroe, Texas. Carroll attended the University of Houston and South Texas Law college. After college Carroll had a career as a CPA. He was a longtime resident of Montgomery, Texas and a member of Conroe Church of Christ. Carroll was an avid golfer and a true family man.

Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Butler A. Thompson and Vada Tullos Thompson; son, Carroll Nelson Thompson Jr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jewel Thompson; son, Craig A. Thompson and his wife Diane; daughters, Dawne Haikenwaelder and her husband Donnie, and Michelle Wright; daughter in law, Janet Thompson; grandchildren, Michelle Thompson, Molly Thompson, Blake Thompson, Cliff Haikenwaelder and his wife Amber; great grandchild, Travis Haikenwaelder; as well as a host of friends.

Carroll will be laid to rest in Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
