Imogene “Carolyn” was born in Bay City, to Richard G. and Carolyn I. Golding. Carolyn grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, graduating from Mary Carrol Highschool in 1960. In the same year Carolyn married the love of her life Robert Stone and shared sixty-three years of wonderful experiences together.
Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, teaching ceramics and supporting her church family. Carolyn was an active member of First Baptist Church of Corpus Christi for over fifty years.
Carolyn prized her forty-two years of service with Reynolds Aluminum company, and cherished all the friends she made over the years. Carolyn possessed a sharp wit and engaging personality that drew people to her.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her husband Robert, son David, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandsons Christopher and Trevor, and sister Dr. Mary Rhoads.
A funeral service for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service and interment at 12:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas.
