I am so  sorry to hear of Susie's passing.  Although I haven't seen her since we graduated from high school, I remember her as a good friend.  I was new that senior year to Klein High School and she was a kind & sweet friend.

The Lord Giveth.  The Lord Taketh Away.  Blessed be the Name of the Lord for giving me my sister Susie for 71 years.   We were very close and worked at the same law firm for many years.  In fact, so close that she is being buried next to my son Jeremy who passed away this year. 
I love her so much and will miss her dearly.  Susie will always be in my heart.  I will never forget her.  I love you, Susie.

Aunt Susie came to celebrate a birthday and that is where she discovered how much she loved the grilled sweet onions after she tried them. She called to tell me how much she loved the onions, and they did not taste like Grandma's onions. She was amazed how many types of onions there are and she would have to put it on her list to eat more often.

We thought of you today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence. 
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
