Betty Jane Branson Zeitz

Betty Jane Branson Zeitz passed away on September 12, 2015 in Conroe, Texas. She was born to Bernie T. and Alta J. Branson on February 27, 1921 in Hackett, Arkansas. The family moved to Texas in 1923 and she was raised in Bowie, Texas. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. Betty Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, her parents, a brother, Norman, and a sister, Deane, a sister-in-law, Annie Branson, a nephew, Tom Branson, and a niece, Martha Andreasen. She is survived by a son, Larry Gunn of Mexico, a daughter, Janie Alexander and husband Dan of Waverly, Texas, a brother, Paul Branson and wife Nancy of Sherman, Texas, four grandsons, David Gunn and wife Shawn of Keller, Texas, Brian Alexander and wife Julie of Houston, Texas, Stephen Alexander and wife Lisa of College Station, Texas, Nathan Alexander of Spring, Texas, one granddaughter, Tanya Russell of Austin, Texas, two great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters, one great-great-grandson, two great-great-granddaughters, numerous nephews and a brother-in-law, Mike Wright.

Graveside services with burial beside her husband will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Texas.
