Barbara Jean Summers was born August 21, 1934 in Houston, Texas and passed away April 8, 2016 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 81. Jean was the Owner and Agent of Summers Insurance Agency and Summers Bail Bonds. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to bicycle races and horse shows. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean is survived by her daughter, Lisa Nielsen and husband David Doane of Freeport, Texas; grandchildren: Michael Kirby Nielsen, David Aaron Doane, Kasey Michelle Allen and husband Randall and James Karr Ellis and wife Casey; great grandchildren: Karson Blake Allen, Kassidy Brooke Allen, Karrter Ellis, Karsyn Ellis and Kameron Ellis; and special friend, Theola Nichols. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6-8pm. A Memorial Service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 3pm.
