Our beloved, Anthony Kirk “Kado” Sanders, 64 peacefully went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 7, 2017. His devoted wife was by his side. He was born October 3, 1953 in Houston, Texas. He made the decision to build his legacy in Houston and in the surrounding areas. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents: Oliver T. and Frankie Jean Sanders, his daughter: Chastity Sanders, and brother: AJ Sanders. Anthony leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his loving wife, Diana Sanders of 20 years. His daughters: Tiffany Sanders Roland (LaDarron Roland), Kisha Young-Sanders Rowe (Daryl Rowe), and Dana Baker (Andrea Murray). His sons: Jestin Sanders (Lauren Chambers), Damon Baker, and Doug Baker. Two beautiful Godchildren: Destiny Bourgeois and Ray Mayo (Sherita). Two sisters: Frances Sanders and Johnnie Mae White, and two brothers: Cedric Sanders and Oliver Sanders Jr. He had 4 amazing in-laws that loved him as their own: Twanna Robertson, Deborah Robertson, Mary “Pinky” Robertson, and Robert Robertson (Linda). Anthony was blessed to have 6 granddaughters, 9 grandsons, 1 great-grandson, and 2 God-grandsons. He had a host of very special nieces and nephews, countless relatives, and an abundance of loyal friends. Words cannot express how terribly he will be missed. As a young boy, Anthony learned the basics of air conditioning and refrigeration from his father. This later became his passion. He earned his degree at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. After working for various companies, he obtained a position with Honeywell where he was a Regional Technical Manager. He dedicated 20 years of loyal service before retiring. Anthony was not finished, he took all of his experience and relationships that were established over the years and launched his very own air conditioning and heating company. Sanders Service Solutions was his heart’s desire and he worked tirelessly day and night to ensure that this company was successful. He used this company as a platform to connect and touch people from all walks of life. He never met a stranger, did not see color, and had a unique way of lightening up anyone’s life that he came in contact with. Everyone was a friend to Anthony. His most honorable and greatest success was being an irreplaceable husband, one-of-a-kind father, and a joyful grandfather and great-grandfather. Above all else, Anthony was a man of faith and a true servant of God. We know that Heaven is rejoicing as they welcome Anthony, “our angel” home. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:00am with Minister Durrandel Ford officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am Saturday, December 16, 2017.
