Anna Belle Reynolds Holloway passed away on Saturday, October 5. She was born on March 17th, 1930, in Greenbrier, Arkansas to Ruben Estes and Mary Jane (Turney) Reynolds - the second youngest of their 12 children. She is preceded by her parents, eight brothers: Herbert, Levi, Earl, R.C. "Roland," Royce, Pierce, David, and J.D. "Jake;" three sisters: Ruby Black, Myrtle Grewing and Oneita Reynolds; and her husband, Kenneth M. Holloway.
Anna is survived by her children, Becky Mitchell and her husband Frank, Michiel Holloway and his wife Loy, and Debbie Holloway; granddaughter, Loree Jolley and her husband Blane; great-grandson, Bailey Jolley; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anna graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1948 and married her childhood sweetheart, Kenneth in October 1948. After many years between Arkansas and Texas (due to the railroad life) Anna and K. M. eventually settled in Conroe, TX in 1979.
Anna enjoyed spending time with family and church friends playing games, fellowshipping, and floating down the Buffalo River in Arkansas, and Guadalupe River in Texas. Anna was a longtime member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, TX.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX with a graveside service immediately following in Garden Park Cemetery with Dr. Galen Cooper officiating.
