Born July 12, 1954 in Catawba County, he was the son of Barbara Perkins Hinson and the late Howard Hinson. Dale loved his family very deeply.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Lora Hinson and brother, Robert Hinson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Pamela Matheson Hinson; sons, Christopher Hinson and wife, Rhonda, Bobby Joe Hinson, Timothy Hinson and wife, Rebecca, Michael Hinson; daughter, Jessica Hinson; brother, Lonnie Hinson and wife, Melinda; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover with Rev. Randy Bowlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Conover City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. prior to the service.
