Jay Moffitt Jr.

Jay A. Moffitt, Jr., 54, of Connersville, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at his residence. Jay was born August 23, 1958, in Connersville to Jay A., Sr. and Ruby G. Venable Moffitt. He attended Fayette County schools and had worked at Premier Events. He was a member of the American legion. Jay enjoyed attending yard sales, auctions and spending time with his family. Jay is survived by his sons: Jay A. Moffitt, III and Marvin R. Moffitt both of Connersville; brothers: Kenneth R. Barrett and his wife, Cindy and Richard D. Barrett all of Indianapolis; sisters: Deborah D. Bunch and her husband, Arthur and Phyllis Trishman and her husband, Steve; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jay is preceded in death by a brother: Michael Harrison There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
