Paul A. Twombly

He was born September 26, 1938 in Tilton NH to Arthur and Alexandrine Twombly, graduated in 1956 from Tilton High School and received his Masters degree in Education from Plymouth State College in 1967. He was married to his wife Lucille Twombly in 2005.

Paul was a long time Principal at Walker school in Concord, NH followed by full time service to our country in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics and a member of the Horace Chase Lodge No. 72 Free Masons and NH American Legion.

Paul was predeceased by his brother Joseph Twombly and his sisters Anita Kelly and Madeline Gilbert.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Twombly of Concord, his brother Philip Twombly and wife Gayle of Tilton, his sister Teresa Pucci of Tilton, his daughter Brenda Mayer and husband Scott of San Diego, CA, his daughter Barbara Nauton of Tinmouth, VT, his son Brian Twombly and wife Cheryl of Londonderry, his stepson Bruce Taylor of Sunapee, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street Concord, NH. A memorial service will be held at 4PM on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Committal will take place at a later date.
