Mary Jane Robinson

Born in Concord, NH on February 28, 1935 to Ralph and Thelma Richards.

She graduated from Concord High School in 1953 and attended business school. She worked at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, and after her children were grown worked at the Card Gallery and NH Clocks.

She was a member of the Concord Women’s Club and a charter member and past President of GFWC Concord Contemporary Club.

She was also a member of the Madisses Circle of South Congregational Church and was a Red Cross Volunteer.

She was an accomplished rug hooker and loved drawing.

Mary Jane truly enjoyed her friends at Steeple Gate Walkers Club. She also had very fond memories of her summer vacations at York Beach, ME.

She was predeceased by a daughter Jodi Jane; and by her sister Janet Lillios.

Family members include her husband of 57 years, Irving Robinson; sons Jeffrey Robinson and his significant other, Shahana Cressy and Michael Robinson; 3 granddaughters Nicole, Nora and Mia Rose; a grandson Keith; one great granddaughter Aislin; siblings Joanne Dugas and David Richards; and many nieces and nephews.

A Calling hour will be held at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord on Saturday, September 29 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. with a 2:00 P.M. funeral service, followed by another calling hour from 2:30 to 3:30 P.M. Private interment services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary Jane’s memory to CRVNA Hospice House, 28 Pillsbury Street, Concord or to Concord Contemporary Club, P.O. Box 871, Concord, NH 03302.
