Earl Laura Raymond

Earl Laura Raymond Young passed away on June 11, 2024. She is predeceased by her first husband, Arthur Raymond, as well as her second husband Sumner Young and a daughter; Gail Marsden and step-son; Thomas Young. She is survived by her daughter; Phyllis Chartier, Winchedon, MA, a step-daughter Katherine Young, Sanford, ME. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and her brother Schuyler Brower, Cotter, Ark.

She served on the Steeing Committee and was clark and charter member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Norwell, MA. She was a Deacon and President of the Board of Elders, West Parish Church in W. Barnstable, MA. She was also a member of the Board of Deacons, Quechee Community Church, Quechee, VT and a member of First Congregational Church of Concord, NH. She was an active member of the Havenwood Heritage Heights Sacred Dance Choir. She retired from the Government Department at Dartmouth College when she moved to Concord, NH. She was deeply devoted to her family.

A private graveside service will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Resident Support Fund for Heritage Heights 33 Christian Ave in Concord, NH. Havenwood will be hosting a Celebration of Life for all to attend on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00PM. They are located at 33 Christian Ave Concord, NH 03301.
