Beverly Joyce (Coursey) Merrill

Beverly Joyce (Coursey) Merrill, age 81, of Rumney, New Hampshire passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Born on November 17, 1942 in Plymouth, NH, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Joyce R. Coursey.

Beverly grew up in the Plymouth, NH area and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1960. After high school, she attended cosmetology school where she begin her 30-year career in cosmetology and became the co-owner of Bev’s Beauty Salon in Concord, NH. After moving out West with her husband, she worked in sales for Camping World in Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. Bev loved cooking and baking for family and friends and was the go to person for Holiday parties and amazing food. She enjoyed knitting and quilting, and handmade an array of sweaters for many of her family members. She was known for her beautiful flowers and she took great pride in her gardening and flowerbeds. She will be remembered as the best Mom ever.

She is survived by her children Corenna Chagnon and husband Steven, and Robert M. Merrill IV and wife Kristen; sister Arthena Lee; brothers Gordon Coursey, Patrick Coursey, and William Kramer; grandchildren Steven Chagnon Jr., Stacey Chagnon, Sarah Chagnon, Alyssa Merrill, and Robert M. Merrill V., great-grandchildren Ethan Chagnon, Aidyn Chagnon, Teauge Mayville, Rylan Teske, and Rohen Teske. She is predeceased by her husband Robert M. Merrill III; parents Charles and Joyce Coursey; and sister Barbara Munroe.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main St, Concord, NH. Following the visitation will be a burial at 3:00 PM at Pages Corner Cemetery, Dunbarton Center, NH.
