Audrey was born December 20, 1940 in St. Johnsbury, VT. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Helena (Mitchell) Kelso, of Monroe, NH. She had two siblings, twin brothers, Richard and Robert Kelso, who preceded her.
She graduated from high school at McIndoes Academy, McIndoes Falls, VT, in 1958. Then attended Franklin Pierce Secretarial School, Concord, NH. She was employed with New Hampshire State Police, where she worked for 14 years, retiring as a certified fingerprint clerk.
Audrey married Roland Winn on November 18, 1961. They settled in Concord where they raised their three children.
Audrey had a very giving nature and was a natural caretaker. She had many gifts and talents. She enjoyed cooking, baking for social functions, square dancing, babysitting, flower gardening, knitting, crocheting and sewing, making many baby quilts for grandchildren and extended family members. She was very active at West Congregational Church for over 50 years, serving on several committees. She loved the beach and she and Roland spent many happy summers at York beach, Maine, with the grandchildren. She was best known, in these parts, for her homemade donuts. She always made plenty to go around and they were often served when she hosted guests.
She is survived by her husband, Roland, of 56 plus years, daughters, Tracey Petsinger, Cape Elizabeth, ME, Kimberley (and William) Wilson, South Chesterfield, VA and son, Kevin Winn, Dover, NH. Grandchildren; Zechariah and Brittany (Nason) Petsinger, Austin Petsinger, Hailey Petsinger, Elizabeth Wilson. Great-Grandchildren; Ashlynn, Gunnar, Xander Petsinger and Luke and Aurora Holland. Sister-in-law Joanie Kelso and many In-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11:30am, West Congregational Church, 499 North State St, Concord, NH. Church will be open to receive guests at 10 am, allowing time to offer your condolences and sign the guest book. Reception immediately following the service, in the same building.
A committal service will follow on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 1:00pm at the Monroe Cemetery located on Plains Road, Monroe, NH.
