Virginia Lee Rodgers

Virginia Lee Rodgers, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Oakwood Village in Springfield. Virginia was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 9, 1932 to Elmer and Lillian Young. She lived her life in Columbus until her husband Ronald passed away. She then moved to Springfield to live with her grandchildren. Virginia loved her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Mercy Ministries. Virginia worked for 7 up Bottling Company for 24 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L.; son, Craig Stallings; granddaughter, Danielle; and sister, Ruth Fraher. Survived by her daughter, Coni (Bruce) Scarberry; grandson, Craig (Sherry) Scarberry; great grandchildren, Irene (George) and Grace; other relatives and friends.
