Valerie R Morgan

Preceded in death by her parents, Helen Yeagley Mellor and Harold Hartley and brother Dennis McGrath.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Edward Morgan; brother, Jerry Hartley; sister Deloris Andrews; daughters, Linda (Doug) Hall, Barbara Arthur, Brenda (Ed) Weaver; grandchildren, Nicole Arthur, Cassandra (Jonathan) Duffy, Justin (Jessica) Bradford, Jennifer (Scott) Green, Heather (Skip) Ivery; great-grandchildren, Ayden Stark, Haileigh and Payton Bradford, Madison and Kennedy Ivery and Brooks Green.

Valerie and Ed were married on July 20, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio. Ed and Valerie shared 63 wonderful years together. Valerie was an avid golfer, competing in various Central Ohio tournaments including the Babe Zaharias Classic. Valerie was a long time member of High Lands Golf Club in Pataskala Ohio. Valerie enjoyed the game of bridge and played several times a week. Sewing was a passion for Valerie and at one time was the owner of Sew-n-Save Fabrics in Pickerington, Ohio. She acquired her pilot's license and enjoyed flying with Ed in their Cessna 172. Valerie also loved to travel with Ed in their Holiday Rambler Motor Home. Valerie was a successful Real Estate Agent with the Columbus Board of Realtors from 1983-2015.

Valerie most of all loved the time spent with her family as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Valerie's family will be having a private service for immediate family only due to the COVID19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674, Heart.org, or 1-800-242-8721. Services entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST. Officiant Rob Yanok. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
