He is preceded in death by, Maternal great grandparents Ernest and Emily Cormier; Uncles Geoffrey Schweitzer and Richard Grassette; Cousins Richard Grassette Jr., Jeffery Grassette Jr. and Courtney Grassette.
Tim is survived by many that loved him, Wife Christina Steele; children Alexia, Dominic, Lucas and Makayla Steele; mother Kathy McCalla; father Scott Grassette and wife Melinda Grassette; sisters Stephanie Sexton, Ashely Crews, Leda Miller; grandparents Shirley Grassette and Richard Grassette as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tim was an avid motorcycle and Harley enthusiast and took every opportunity to hit the open road with friends and family. He cherished time doing a multitude of activities like hiking, shooting guns, shooting pool, bowling, challenging friends at chess matches, playing paintball, camping, and so many other pursuits with friends and family. Tim loved having movie nights, even if it included guilty pleasure teen dramas like "Step Up", "Twilight" and "Harry Potter" (all huge hits with the kids). Tim was so very proud of his children and their many accomplishments and activities. Tim could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone, whether it be his parents, a friend, or a client in need. He successfully built and operated his own appliance repair business and served the greater Columbus area for over 13 years. Tim will be forever loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten. They say the brightest stars burn the shortest, and Tim was absolutely one of the brightest stars!!!
Tim's Family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4-6pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH location at 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, where a celebration of life will follow at 6pm with officiant Rob Turner. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
