Thomas J. “TJ” Riggs

T.J lived life with a powerful sense of purpose. He touched many people’s lives, he was kind, generous, and was loved by all who knew him. He was a father, family man, successful businessman, he loved to travel, watch sports, and spend time with his dogs. He was also a passionate die-hard Buckeye fan.

T.J was a graduate of the Rio Grande University and a member of Archon Fraternity. He was very active in the Fraternity and served as president of both the active order and the Archon Alumni Association. T.J. was also passionate about athletics and business.

T.J owned a successful waste management company, Greyhound Hauling Express that was known nationally, T.J was respected by his colleagues and clients.

Thomas is survived by the mother of his children, Heidi Riggs; Son, Nicholas (Meltem) Riggs; Granddaughter, Maya Skye Riggs; nieces, Lauren Lambert, Leslie Morales, and Lynn Lambert; and many wonderful family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Marin Elizabeth Riggs; sister, Ann Riggs; and his dogs, Sam and Sophie.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, December 16, 2022, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
