Thomas D. Peoples, age 66, of Dublin passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011. Tom was born on July 24, 1945 in Fremont, OH; he was the son of the late Dale and Florence Peoples. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Lynn Peoples; children, Laura (Robert) Phillippi Cincinnati, OH and Chad Peoples of Upper Arlington, OH; grandchild, Cameron Phillippi; sister-in-law, Sue Diesem and brother-in-law, Dr. Robert (Joanne) Diesem; nieces, Erin and Stacy Diesem; and many other family and friends. Tom was a graduate of Eastwood High School and received his B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Toledo in Finance. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Tom was a bank consultant in Toledo and then moved to Middletown, Ohio to work at Middletown National Bank; Tom went on to retire from National City Bank after 28 years of service. During this time, Tom also taught classes at Franklin University, University of Toledo and Miami University, Middletown, OH. He enjoyed coaching for the Dublin Youth Association. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and OSU sports. Tom will be remembered for his loyalty and dedication in all aspects of his life. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and proud grandfather. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5-7pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221; and on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 11am-12pm with funeral services at 12pm; Rev. Dr. Eugene Folden officiating. Interment to follow at Bellefontaine Cemetery, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
