Terry Lee Hoy, age 65, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Terry was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 13, 1956 to the late Charles, Sr. and June Hoy. He retired from Columbus Coal and Lime after 42 years of dedicated service and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Elvis fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike Hoy and Emerson Hoy; sisters, Patty Jo McQuirt, and Jennifer Shallenburg; sister in-law, Debra Hoy; brother in-law, Darrell Willey; and significant other, Tammy Manning. Terry is survived by his siblings, Sandy Willey, Jo Ellen Fowler, Robin (Ronald) Justice, and Charles Hoy, Jr.; children, Phillip Caldwell, and Crystal Gillman; best friends, Jimmy and Tina Klausman; caretaker, Linda Norris; many grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 1:30PM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
