Sheri Lyn Keen-Parrish

Sheri Lyn Keen-Parrish (nee Newell), age 75, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born on April 30, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charmaine B. (Smith) and Richard M. Newell. Sheri was a member of Reynoldsburg Community Church (contemporary congregation). She loved helping people and taking care of her neighborhood. Sheri loved her family more than anything in the world.

In addition to her parents, Sheri was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ollie C. Parrish and brother, Rick L. Newell of Louisville, Colorado. She is survived by her brother, Jeri Newell (Ric Coleman); sisters, Vivi Newell of Circleville, Ohio and Tina (Oscar) Newell-Solis of San Antonio, Texas; step-mother, Jean Newell of Grove City, Ohio; step-siblings, John Mason of Alabama, Dennis Mason of Grove City, Ohio, Jo Bates and Jane Rembert of Conroe, Texas, and Bobby Neff of Florida; aunt, Ellen A. DeWalt of Gahanna, OH; nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Janice Smith.

Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday, October 18, 2024 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43232, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, October 19th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, PO Box 182883, Columbus, OH 43218-2883.
