Ronald L. Kimberly

Ron was born and raised on the South side of Columbus. He graduated from South High School in 1958 where he met the love of his life, Delores Stewart (Dee). After graduating, he became a proud Marine at Parris Island in South Carolina. In 1960, he married Dee and they had three children. Ron spent over 50 years in the insurance and financial services industry where he made many lifelong friends. He was a General Agent and held the industry designations of CLU and ChFC. Ron was an avid hunter, fisherman, lover of reading, exercise and a lifelong Buckeye fan. Above all, he was passionate about his family and friends. Ron was proceeded in death by his parents Howard Sr. and Ethel Kimberly, son in law Paul Lemire, and great-grandson Paxton Fixari. He is survived by his loving wife Delores, siblings Howard Jr. (Nancy), Barbara (Roger) Krebs, and Richard (DeeDee) and his children Craig, Karen Lemire, Keith (Michele), grandchildren Christopher (Mackenzie) Fixari, Cody Fixari, Casey Zaidel (Tyler), Seth, Colin, Kelley and great-grandchildren Prim, Mack and Walker. We will all miss his energy and passion for life, his charisma, humor, dance, song, and so much more. The world was a brighter place with him in it. “We’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time!” Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
