Robert Henry Taylor, age 58, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Winchester Place. Robert was born on November 12, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Henry and Mary Kay (Bates) Taylor. Robert graduated from West High School in 1983 and attended Columbus State College where he earned his associates degree. He proudly served as a Sheriff Deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. Robert enjoyed baseball, soccer, WWE and listening to Barry Manilow. Preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Taylor. Survived by his parents, Henry and Mary Kay Taylor; daughter, Kaitlyn Taylor and her fiancé, James King; Lolita Taylor; aunt, Lois Smith; uncle Thomas Bates; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 1-4 pm at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger Funeral Home, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 with service to follow at 4 pm.
