Regina M. "Jean" Turner

Regina M. “Jean” Turner, 81, of Sunbury, passed away on August 24, 2018. She was born on November 5, 1936 in Weirton, West Virginia to Thomas and Alberta (Miller) Reed, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Reed Jr., Robert Reed, James Reed, and Harold Reed and one sister, Alice Giannamore.

Jean enjoyed traveling when her health allowed, spending time with family, and playing games and cards with her grandchildren.

Jean will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 63 years William E. Turner; children Patricia Turner, James (Deborah) Turner, and Rebecca (Rodger) Sprouse. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Four siblings, Mary Chafin (David) of W.Va., Betty Dragich and William Reed (Tinnie) of Ohio, and Barbara Evans.

A funeral service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
