Randall L. "Randy" Tackett

Randall L. Tackett, age 44, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 24, 2011. Randy graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1984 and Columbus State in 1988. He worked for many years at AT&T followed by CCS Medical, and was currently employed by The Huntington National Bank Customer Service Center at Easton. Randy lived his life with integrity and had a work ethic that any employer would value. People always knew where they stood with Randy. He loved a good discussion and always seemed to get in the last word, but it was always just for fun. He enjoyed fishing, loved animals, and depending on the season, enthusiastically cheered on the Steelers, OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds or Kentucky Basketball. Above all, Randy was passionate about family. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Tackett; parents, Dorpha and Lorena Tackett; sister, Sheila Tackett; grandmother-in-law, Helen Castle; mother and father-in-law, Dennis and Sheila Braden; brothers-in-law, Dwayne (Janine) Braden and Scott (Madeline) Braden; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 2-5pm Sunday, January 30, and 10-11 Monday, January 31 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will be held Monday at 11am; Pastor Phil Duncan, of Jersey Baptist Church, officiating; interment in Jersey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MDA, 500 W. Wilson Bridge Rd., Suite 105, Worthington, OH 43085, in memory of Randy’s beloved son, Brady Tackett, who passed away on May 24, 2009.
