Pamela A. Wingate

Pam was preceded in death by parents, Maurice (T. Eloise Barclay) Wingate, brother Jerry, and brother-in-law Jay Fields.

She is survived by sister, Lynn Fields, brother, Steven (Daniela) Wingate; niece, Jodie (Steve) Hrinko, nephews, Michael (Ashley) Fields, Steven (Amy) Fields, Will (Abby) Allen, great-nephews & nieces, Justin & Anna Hrinko, Nick(Gianna) Fields, Rachel Fields, Jeffrey Fields, Zachary Fields & special cousin, Susan Maslyk.

A heartfelt thank you to her special friends, Pam K., Kaycie, Karen, Melanie, Karen, Ginny, Nancy, Kevin, Sherry & so many others who have selflessly supported her and the family through this battle.

Pam’s love of family, friends, dogs (Penny & Chops!) and dog rescue, singing and music have been her life’s great passions.

She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1971 and was active in their class reunions and events. Attending The Ohio State University, Pam joined Delta Delta Delta Sorority where she made life-long friends and after college that influence extended to becoming Chapter Advisor to the Tri-Delt Sorority at Denison University in Granville extending those great friendships.

Pam’s career started as a fashion buyer which included Lazarus, The Limited, & Paul Harris and travel abroad to Hong Kong.

Subsequently she returned to central Ohio to be close to family & friends and established herself as a residential realtor developing client relationships that grew into friendships that she valued and maintained.

Her passion for music and singing continued throughout her life from high school to the present day. Whether performing or just practicing with bandmates, she was at her happiest, and it showed. Pam was fortunate to be able to perform with some of the most talented musicians in Central Ohio.

Finally, a special thank you to Dr. Aine Clements and the Kobacker House for making Pam’s end-of-life journey one filled with comfort, peace and respect.
