Mildred Lucille Dotson

Mildred Lucille Dotson, age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Village of Westerville. She was born on April 27, 1925 in Sumner, OH to the late John and Serena (White) Campbell. Mildred was a 1943 graduate of Olive Orange High School in Tupper Plains, OH where she met the love of her life, Robert P. Dotson. Mildred and Bob were married for 65 years before he passed away in 2011. She retired from Lazarus Department Store after 25 years of service. Mildred was a devoted Christian woman, a long-time member of Groveport Church of Christ, accomplished seamstress, avid reader and gardener. In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Walter Campbell. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob (Sharon) Dotson of Columbus, Dennis (Jackie) Dotson of Johnstown; grandchildren, Wendy (Scott) Richards, Lyle Dotson, Lana (Jared) Beddoes, Kari (Derek) Childs; great grandchildren, Kaleb Beddoes, Addison Dotson, and Reese Beddoes; brothers, Harold and Howard Campbell and sister, Mary Buehl. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. The funeral service will be held 10:30 am Friday, July 17, 2015 at Groveport Church of Christ, 5626 Groveport Rd. Pastor David Stevens officiating.
