Michael F. McCourt

Michael F. McCourt, Sr., 67 of Dublin, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Mike was born April 9, 1943 in Columbus and was a graduate of Grandview High School. He served in the U.S. Army and attended The Ohio State University. Mike traveled the U.S. working in sales and recruiting. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf, softball and basketball and has always been an avid OSU Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Pauline. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Henrietta; daughter, Kristine (Andrew) High; sons, John (Christine) McCourt and Michael F. (Julie) McCourt, Jr.; grandchildren, Alyssa and Nicholas High and Emily and Meghan McCourt; and sister, Mary Lee McCourt. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday, September 23, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Friday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, located on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, OH, Fr. John G. Johnson, Celebrant.
