She was a resident of Wichsire Assistant Living Deer Park Ohio the last 3 years. Special thank you to Wicshire staff, especially Margaret, Kelly, Zena and Helen.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, George A. Teal; her parents; in-laws, Barber and Anna Teal; her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws of the Teal family; special friends, Armando and Elda Chianelli.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Maryanne McCord-Stanley (Garth); grandsons, Brian J. McCord (Kathy) and Kenneth G. McCord; great-grandchilrdren Alex McCord (Victoria), Samantha McCord, Sydney McCord, Shelby Reinhardt (Joseph), Joshua T. McCord; great-great-grandchildren, Kirra Guffey, Adalynn McCord, Sophia Reinhardt, Tate Reinhardt, Knox Reinhardt; special nephews, James Esselstein (Marty), Larry Saffell (Susan); several nieces and nephews; sister, Martha Ann Wood and family, Delaware, Ohio. Special thank you to Nina Sims (Victor) and daughters for the loving care they gave Mary in the last years she resided in Ohio.
Mary and husband, George, met and work and retired from the original Lazarus in Columbus, Ohio. Mary belonged to St. James the less Catholic Parish. She volunteered at the weekly Bingo events. She belonged to the Lazarus retirement group, and on a lot of weekends, Mary and George helped Mary Francis Esselstein at the Colonial Inn Restaurant in McConnelsville, Ohio. After Mary retired, she traveled to Las Vegas and several cruises with James Esselstein (Marty), sister-in-laws, Garnet Shriner, and Mary Francis Esselstein.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. James the less Women’s group. They make care packages and gifts for shut-ins. Arrangements being handled by Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43229. Visitation is 10:00-11:00am Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Funeral Home with services to follow with Deacon Melvin Hawkins. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High St, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. Following the services, guests are invited to Advantage by Schoedinger North for fellowship.
