Marilyn L. Boswell

Marilyn L. Boswell, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 8, 2022. Marilyn was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 18, 1926 to the late Ellsworth and Elma (Sells) Garner. Also preceding in death was her husband James Boswell; stepson Phil Boswell; and brother Foster Garner. Marilyn was a graduate of Worthington High School and a member of the Franklin County Honor Society. She loved playing cards, especially penny ante poker and Tripoley. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time with her grandsons, watching Cincinnati Reds baseball and golf. Family birthdays were important to her. She looked forward to celebrating by going out to dinner. In her early years she loved traveling with her husband to Sarasota and Siesta Key, Florida. Marilyn enjoyed her “happy hour” glass of wine. She had a deep love for her many cats and dogs over the years. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her loving son Greg (Rita) Boswell; and grandson’s Ryan Kay, Brett and Evan Boswell; and step-grandchildren Lance and Dawn Boswell. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Entombment will be the next day at Union Cemetery.
