Margie L. Seymour

Margie L. Seymour, age 89 of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18th, 2024. Margie was born in Hocking County, Ohio, on August 2nd, 1935. She was a devoted member of Messiah Lutheran Church and gave her heart and time to her faith. She served as a member of the church council as well as the Alter Guild. When she was not attending Church, Margie could be found playing Pinochle with her card club friends. Margie was the type of woman who would give her opinion (even if you did not want to hear it) and had to have the last word. She may have been stubborn and ‘always right’ but it was those things that made up the Margie we all knew and adored. Everyone loved Margie, especially her girls and she, of course, loved them too. Margie was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those who got a chance to meet her.

Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Seymour; her parents; two brothers; and her granddaughter

She is survived by her daughters, Julie (Don) Searls, Cindy Watkins, and Tina (Jerry) Bohanan; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the associates at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing as well as 360 Hospice for taking such great care of Margie.

A visitation will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church (1200 Waggoner Road Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068) on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service to follow. A graveside service will occur at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens chapel (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213) on Monday, November 25th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
