Lori is survived by her beloved sons Townsend Cox and Jason (Julie) Cox, and by her granddaughters Mackenzie and Charlotte Cox. Also, by her stepfather Jack Bachtel, and loving siblings Steve (Jill) Coon, Sharon (Jeff) Pacione, and Colleen (Tom) Ward. She adored her nieces and nephews Emilee Coon, Sam (Amanda) Coon, Justin Pacione, Claire Pacione, Ian Goldthwaite, and Isaac (Krystal) Goldthwaite. And lastly, by Lori's Australian shepherd Bandera, who gave her many years of laughs, love and comfort.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy "JoJo" Bachtel, her father, Frederic Coon, her brother, David Coon, and her beloved nephew, Gabe Pacione.
Lori was resolute in all that she aspired to do. She was a very proud mother, and nothing brought her more joy than being a grandmother, "Yaya". Lori loved sports, gardening, and the outdoors. Her tenacity was apparent in her work ethic. Lori worked in merchandising for many years with Muirfield Village Golf Club. Most recently, she loved her work in the event business with Concessions by Cox, and in disaster relief services with Storm Services, LLC. Her adventurous spirit took her on many travels, including hiking through the Adirondack Mountains, camping at bottom of the Grand Canyon, and backpacking through Europe to visit the beautiful Cinque Terre, Italy.
At Lori's request, there will not be any services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a charitable donation in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
