Larry Combs

Larry Keith Combs, 79, was surrounded by family when he passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2022. He was born to Ralph and Georgia Combs on August 15, 1942, in Marion, Ohio. After graduating from Marion Harding High School Larry worked for the Whirlpool Corporation, Erie Lackawanna Railroad, and Conrail railroad.

Larry was known for his love and commitment to family and friends. He was a man who could strike up a conversation with anybody about any topic. The simple pleasures in life such as going to the beach, washing and waxing his cars, and spending time with family and friends are what Larry cherished the most. He will be remembered as a kind soul who would help anyone who asked. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed Cincinnati Reds baseball and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a long time member of the Marion Lion's Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Georgia Combs. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 57 years, Linda; his sons Keith (Linda) Combs and Chris (Kathy) Combs; and his two grandchildren Cameron and Lauren.

Larry and Linda lived in Marion, Ohio before retiring to Florida. More recently he and Linda moved back to Ohio to be closer to family. They were residing in Powell, Ohio at the time of his passing.
