Kevin David Kildow, 65, went home to Jesus April 11, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio September 20, 1957 to the late David and Waldtraut “Wallie” (Strunk) Kildow. He was likely the only tradesman in the State of Ohio licensed in plumbing, electricity, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), refrigeration and hydronics. His father, a Master Plumber, called him a genius. Kevin was a gifted singer and composer, who loved playing his acoustic guitars as he sang. He also sang as a guest with musicians John Schwab, Molly Pauken, Mark Kreis and other local bands. He loved singing “Rainbow Bridge,” a heartwarming song he composed about his faithful Papillon dogs, Lady and her daughter, Chubby. They met him in Heaven, along with our family dog, Jenny. He is deeply missed by his sister, Kathy Kildow, and friends. The Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 5:00 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. A Celebration of Life Reception will take place immediately following the service, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to any animal shelter or the ASPCA ((American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
