Kenneth Samuel Kaiser, age 57, of Hilliard, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Monday, June 3, 2013 at O.S.U. Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1955 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Samuel and Louise (Mezei) Kaiser. Ken has been an 8thh grade science teacher at Sells Middle School in Dublin the past seven years. Previously, he was a senior information technology executive with TRW Defense and Space division at Wright Patterson AFB, Borden Inc. and Sterling Commerce for over 25 years. Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and teacher who will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Anne Kaiser; daughter, Traciann Kaiser; son, Kristopher Kaiser; grandsons, Eli and Jake Holmes; mother Louise Kaiser; sister, Elise (Michael) Spoto; brother Chuck (Jenna) Kaiser; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kari Williams, Michael (Holly) Ciejko, Bill Ciejko and Joan Bever; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends and students. Ken was a graduate of Youngstown State University and received his Master of Arts degree in teaching from Otterbein College. Besides teaching, Ken loved coaching, especially his daughter in soccer in the Hilliard Ohio Soccer Association league and his son in baseball. He was a football and baseball coach at Sells Middle School and in the Dublin Youth Athletics leagues for over 20 years. He had a passion for airplanes and history, especially family genealogy and was an advocate for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, WW II Museum in New Orleans, and the WW II Memorial in Washington D.C. Friends may call 5-8 pm Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St, Worthington (1/2 mile south of 270), where prayer service with eulogy will be held at 7:30 pm Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Saturday, June 8, 2013 at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Road. Interment Dublin Cemetery.
